Job Description

Foundations for Living offers a mission-driven, collaborative environment in Mansfield, OH. This full-time, on-site Human Resources Generalist role centers on recruiting and training for a residential treatment facility serving adolescents. Salary: Starting at $55,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for multiple roles across the facility.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle—from job postings and resume screening to interviews and hiring recommendations.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on the recruitment process.
  • Assess training needs and develop comprehensive programs for new hires and existing staff.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions on safety protocols, adolescent mental health best practices, and crisis intervention.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and refine programs to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including onboarding forms and training documentation, to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role with a focus on recruitment and training.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Compassion and understanding of the needs of adolescents in a residential treatment setting.
