Job Description
The HR Generalist role at Gannon University supports recruitment, onboarding, benefits and leaves administration, policy development, and HRIS recordkeeping on site in Erie, PA.
Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition and manage recruitment processes
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and support training and development efforts
- Advise employees on HR topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve issues
- Manage employee relations and conflict resolution
- Support development and rollout of HR policies
- Support performance management activities
- Collect and analyze HR metrics including time to hire and turnover
- Coordinate annual performance reviews
- Maintain employee records in electronic and paper formats
- Manage offboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws
- Support bi-weekly payroll processes
- Perform data entry tasks
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required; alternative education pathways may be considered for candidates with extensive experience

- Professional HR certification
