Job Description

This role supports HR operations at Princeton Radiology Associates, handling talent acquisition, onboarding, HRIS and benefits administration, with involvement in performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, and nurturing a constructive culture across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of the recruitment lifecycle, from requisition through placement and onboarding when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to determine requirements, duties, and qualifications for open roles.
  • Draft precise job descriptions and define hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient recruiting strategies aligned with the role, industry norms, and company needs.
  • Develop creative recruitment solutions including proactive networking, database mining, sourcing on industry or educational sites, and identifying new channels.
  • Collect and analyze data to maintain an understanding of fair market salaries, candidate availability, and demand in specific fields.
  • Monitor permanent job postings on job boards and screen resumes for submission to the hiring manager; assist with interviews for difficult roles.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews as required.
  • Serve as liaison between staffing agencies and hiring managers to fill temporary-to-permanent roles, maintaining ongoing communication.
  • Maintain compliance with EEO and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Plan and deliver a flawless onboarding process, including new hire communication, HRIS document completion, benefits enrollment, background checks, and other compliance steps.
  • Develop and implement recruiting module enhancements, process improvements, and related content and communications as needed.
  • Maintain HRIS personnel records and generate required reports from the system.
  • Assist in maintaining all HR processes and documentation within the HRIS system; stay current on system enhancements and releases.
  • Ensure timely completion of new hire benefit enrollments and any benefit changes.
  • Perform monthly audits and verify invoices from benefits providers to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare separation documents for departing employees and ensure timely processing of separation transactions.
  • Submit mandated New Jersey unemployment information according to guidelines.
  • Provide HR support to employees and to managers/directors.
  • Offer administrative and operational support to the HR Director and Senior HR Generalist.
  • Manage workers' compensation incidents and communications with affected employees.
  • Respond to HR inquiries via phone and email; process employment verifications per policy.
  • Oversee the employee recognition and anniversary program, preparing monthly materials and communications for managers.
  • Assist with coordination of annual open enrollment and related communications.
  • Assist in preparing communications such as posters, flyers, and documents for all locations.
  • Support project management activities and meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Four years of HR Generalist experience, with at least two years hands-on managing electronic recruitment, onboarding, HRIS, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency with social media and job boards, particularly Indeed, for candidate sourcing.
  • Experience with HRIS is required, preferably UKG Ready/Kronos.
  • Proficiency with applicant-tracking software or the ability to learn quickly.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal employment laws.
  • Strong organizational, communication, project, and prioritization skills.
  • Analytical ability, sound judgment, and a strong operational focus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Proactive and independent with initiative.
  • High proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new platforms.
  • Willingness to travel to all company locations as needed.
