Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist with the performance review process and its administration
- Support daily HR operations and workflows
- Collaborate on HRIS systems and advanced automation to streamline processes
- Support the HR Director on special projects
- Partner with recruiting staff to deliver a thorough onboarding for new hires
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on retention, recruitment, trainings, events, culture initiatives, and activities
- Maintain knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Facilitate exit interviews
- Maintain accuracy of HRIS data
- Foster relationships with employees and reinforce core values and culture
- Assist the Director of HR in reporting key HR KPIs
- Draft and revise job descriptions based on managers' needs
- Support audits and 401(k) administration
- Administer and support wellness programs
- Occasional on-site visits to construction locations
- Assist with training initiatives and program organization
- Represent HR at industry job fairs and community events
- Demonstrate the ability to resolve employee relations issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting an HR department with compliance, reporting, and systems
- SHRM or PHR preferred
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Proven ability to apply sound judgment in complex situations
- Ability to build relationships with managers and employees
- Ability to adapt in a growing and changing environment
- Experience with HRIS systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
- Occasional travel to support HR activities at additional offices and job sites

USD 80,000 - 100,000 per yearly
