Job Description

What we offer MAS Recruiting is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our onsite Cleveland market facility. You will partner with leadership to shape people strategy, maintain HR compliance, and nurture a positive, high-performance culture. This role is based in Cleveland, OH, with a competitive salary in the range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for leaders and staff across the Cleveland market.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (Ohio), and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations as needed.
  • Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and retention initiatives.
  • Provide coaching to leadership, support performance improvement plans, and drive organizational development.
  • Administer and support HR programs such as benefits, leave management, and workers’ compensation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR on policy implementation, training programs, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried workforces.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities.
