Human Resources & Payroll Administrator
Job Description
This full-cycle human resources and payroll administrator role oversees recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, and compliance across multiple locations for a Bay Area dealership group. The position also covers time and attendance, employee investigations, training coordination, and policy support.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment onboarding and off boarding process for all locations
- Track and maintain employee data and personnel files
- Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and 401k
- Handle workers compensation, garnishment and all government notices
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws
- Manage and maintain time attendance accuracy
- Process payroll and maintain payroll record
- Intake employee complaints, concerns, and allegations
- Conduct investigations
- Coordinate and maintain employee training and development courses and records
- Provide input into the development and revision of employee-related policies and procedures
- Perform other assignments when needed
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a hands-on operational human resources role in California
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Effective organization and time management skills and experience
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Team player
- Work experience in Automobile industry is a plus

Compensation
Hourly rate: USD 28
