Job Description
Lead Recruiter responsible for high-volume field staffing nationwide, building recruiting infrastructure, processes, and metrics to support CR Sustainability's venue and event operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the workforce needed to support nationwide venue and event operations, prioritizing high-volume field hiring while assisting with occasional administrative roles.
- Build the recruiting infrastructure, including hiring metrics, workflows, and scalable processes aligned with growth.
- Operate as a self-starter who creates structure where systems are lacking and manages recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Lead recruiting for field positions across multiple venues and states, with a primary emphasis on event and venue operations recruitment.
- Design and implement scalable recruiting systems to enable hiring across markets and large staffing events.
- Develop and maintain pipelines for field roles to ensure a steady candidate flow ahead of staffing needs.
- Create and maintain recruiting dashboards and tracking tools to monitor hiring activity and workforce readiness.
- Establish and monitor metrics including Time to Fill, Time to Hire, Cost per Hire, Source of Hire, Applicant Conversion Rate, Offer Acceptance Rate, New Hire Show Rate, and 30-Day Retention.
- Analyze recruiting data and hiring trends to identify pipeline gaps, staffing risks, or process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to forecast staffing needs for upcoming events, new venues, and ongoing service operations.
- Post and manage job advertisements across platforms, ensuring postings remain accurate, competitive, and aligned with operational needs.
- Review applications and conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications, availability, and suitability for field roles.
- Coordinate interviews with site supervisors and hiring managers, ensuring efficient movement of candidates through the hiring pipeline.
- Manage large-scale recruiting efforts tied to new venue launches, major events, or seasonal staffing increases.
- Develop standardized recruiting processes and tools to support consistent hiring practices across locations.
- Initiate onboarding documentation and monitor completion through digital onboarding systems such as DocuSign.
- Submit and track background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements where applicable.
- Process and manage E-Verify cases as required and ensure employment eligibility documentation is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate closely with operations teams to confirm start dates, assignments, and readiness for new hires before their first shift.
- Enter new employee information into payroll and HR systems, ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
- Maintain organized employee documentation, keeping records complete and audit-ready.
- Communicate clearly with candidates, supervisors, and internal teams regarding hiring status, onboarding progress, and staffing updates.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes as the organization grows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of recruiting, onboarding, or HR coordination experience; multi-site or high-volume environments preferred.
- Experience recruiting for working-class or blue-collar environments highly preferred.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Associate degree required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience using onboarding or HRIS systems (examples include ADP, Rippling, BBSI, or similar).
- Familiarity with background checks, E-Verify, and employment eligibility compliance.
- Effective communicator capable of building rapport across all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- In-office availability required from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
- Willingness to travel for large-scale staffing events is preferred.
