Job Description

As an Associate, Talent Acquisition, you will support Deloitte’s campus hiring efforts by coordinating recruiting activities, managing candidate workflows, and helping execute the campus recruiting strategy. This role works closely with recruiters, business stakeholders, and Talent teams to help deliver a consistent candidate experience while supporting hiring goals.

Role Overview

Reporting into Deloitte’s Talent Acquisition function, the Associate supports campus recruiting across assigned business areas, helps build and maintain candidate pipelines, and contributes to recruiting operations including budgeting and data management within recruiting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Use recruiting knowledge, recruitment outcomes, and competitive market intelligence to shape recruiting strategies and advise internal stakeholders on recruitment programs and activities.
Support campus recruiting events across assigned business areas, including event planning, interview coordination, candidate communications, and offer support.
Partner with recruiters, business stakeholders, and Talent colleagues to support campus hiring strategy execution.
Build candidate pipelines across relevant hiring profiles and businesses, and maintain ongoing candidate relationships.
Track and manage the recruiting activity budget.
Manage candidate and school data in recruiting systems, track pipeline activity, and maintain accurate documentation.
Support occasional weekend travel and evening recruiting activities during busy season.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, talent acquisition, or human resources.
Must be located within a commutable distance to one of the select locations available for this role.
Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on work responsibilities and client/industry needs.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior recruiting experience in professional services or a large corporate environment.
Ability to quickly learn relevant firm business areas, recruiting policies, procedures, and systems.
Problem-solving and event-planning skills.
Willingness to adopt new methodologies, including use of technology platforms and participation in social media strategy.
Experience using an applicant tracking system and Microsoft Office tools.

Amentum is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner with an active TS/SCI security clearance to join the on-site team in McLean, Virginia. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner and advisor to leaders and employees, coordinating HR activities that align with contractual requirements and organizational objectives. You will collaborate across HR, security, and program management to support staffing, performance, compliance, and employee relations in a positive, compliant work environment.

Compensation

Salary: USD 90,000 - 110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Act as the initial point of contact for employees and managers, handling routine HR tasks across staffing, compensation, leave, recognition and morale, training and development, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, and manager coaching.
Facilitate communication between union representatives and management, serving as a liaison to ensure understanding and adherence to the union contract, mediating discussions, addressing concerns, and fostering constructive dialogue.
Monitor compliance with labor agreement terms by collaborating with management and union officials to align workplace policies with the negotiated contract and proposing corrective actions as needed.
Partner with recruiting to facilitate hiring, selection, and onboarding actions.
Collaborate with security on employee relations issues, investigations, and other shared responsibilities.
Monitor and track HR metrics for the assigned contract.
Serve as a liaison between employees, leaders, and corporate departments including benefits and payroll.
Work with Program Management to identify attrition trends and implement retention strategies.
Provide proactive guidance to managers and employees on performance management, communications and training, employee relations issues, and interpretation of employment laws and company policies and procedures.
Investigate employee complaints and allegations in accordance with company protocol.
Support compliance efforts through policy communication, dissemination, and implementation of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Support program HR and HRIS activities, including validating HRIS data accuracy, org chart alignment, service contract pay rates, wage and benefits changes, leave information, and related data; identify and correct errors in collaboration with leaders.
Respond to employment-related questions from applicants, employees, and supervisors, and follow up to close inquiries.
Contribute to program and company initiatives, tracking and preparing reports for analysis, and recommending best practices to improve the employee and manager experience, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, assisting with interviews, documentation, and reporting.
Maintain awareness of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new HR technologies to drive change and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of relevant HR experience.
Must work onsite five days per week, eight hours per day.
