Compensation
Starting base rate: $57,000 to $62,000 per year. A bilingual premium of $3,120 is added annually if you are proficient in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, craft job requisitions, define hiring criteria, and provide coaching throughout the recruitment process.
- Design and execute sourcing and recruitment strategies, including job postings, social media outreach, career fairs, and other initiatives.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding support.
- Create and maintain job postings, organizational structures, candidate records, and recruitment data within the ATS and HRIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Prepare and distribute offer letters for new hires and internal transfers, coordinating with hiring managers and HR throughout the process.
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain reports to monitor KPIs and hiring effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, organizational policies, and recruiting best practices.
- Develop and deliver training, resources, and guidance to leaders on recruitment practices, including maintaining current hiring information on the ACE portal.
- Manage internship recruitment and hiring processes in partnership with program leadership.
- Serve as a trusted HR resource by responding to employee inquiries, supporting HR initiatives and projects, and assisting with HRIS updates and other departmental needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related experience in lieu of degree
- 3-5 years of experience in Recruiting
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite and database systems
- Proven success in sourcing candidates, conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person) and successful full-cycle onboarding
- Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel when required
- Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, be dependable, reliable and work well independently
- Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgement under all circumstances
- Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively
- Experience with Workday preferred
