People Experience Partner - Human Resources
Job Description
Emerson seeks a People Experience Partner to lead HR efforts for technical and business functions at the Novi, MI office, partnering with managers and employees to guide core people processes.
Responsibilities
- Advise and provide direction to managers on employee relations matters
- Mediate and resolve complex workplace issues, coordinating with Legal when required
- Guide teams through performance management, including feedback, coaching, and improvement plans
- Provide expert support for performance challenges and development planning
- Lead investigations and drive resolutions for ethics complaints, maintaining confidentiality and integrity
- Mentor on ethical issues and support adherence to compliance policies
- Run onboarding and exit processes, including check-ins and exit interviews to improve engagement and retention strategies
- Review employee feedback to surface and address workforce trends
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes to increase efficiency
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and communicate and train employees on HR policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant Human Resources-related experience aligned with the level of the role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided
Preferred qualifications
- 5+ years of Human Resources-related experience
- HR experience in an operations or manufacturing environment
- Extensive employee relations experience
