Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner at Verve Credit Union is a high-impact, full-cycle recruiter focused on attracting, engaging, and securing top talent across the organization. This data-driven, relationship-oriented role partners with leaders to improve hiring outcomes from start to finish. This position is based onsite in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to offer acceptance.
  • Lead structured intake conversations to define success profiles, not just job requirements.
  • Proactively source and build pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles beyond relying on applicants alone.
  • Screen, assess, and present candidates with clear, insightful recommendations.
  • Partner closely with leaders to drive timely, confident hiring decisions.
  • Ensure a seamless, consistent, and high-quality candidate experience at every stage.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels, including networking, referrals, digital platforms, and market mapping.
  • Maintain active pipelines for high volume and recurring roles.
  • Continuously assess talent market trends and adjust approaches accordingly.
  • Build Verve’s employment brand through authentic outreach and engagement.
  • Leverage recruiting data to drive improvements and outcomes.
  • Track and influence key metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion rates, and quality of hire indicators.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions with speed and accountability.
  • Provide clear, concise recruiting updates and insights to HR and leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, guiding, challenging, and aligning expectations.
  • Drive accountability in the hiring process while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Learning + Development, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent and compelling employer branding across LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and other platforms.
  • Lead post-hire debriefs and feed insights back into the hiring process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and propose new ideas with confidence.
  • Contribute to building scalable, efficient recruiting practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
  • At least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with financial services or multi-location environments preferred.
  • Experience using data to influence decisions and improve recruiting outcomes.
  • Experience leveraging HRIS systems for recruiting operations, reporting, and data-driven decision making; Paycom experience a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work Environment: Business office, with a noise level typically quiet to moderate.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a desk for the majority of the workday; communicate verbally and listen effectively; occasional standing or walking. The role involves using a computer, keyboard, and phone. May occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.
