Job Description
Sodrel Holding Company is seeking a Recruiter to support the Indianapolis team. This onsite role focuses on attracting, screening, and assisting with the hiring of qualified candidates across multiple divisions, including transportation, logistics, maintenance, and operations.
Role Overview
The Recruiter will manage key stages of the talent acquisition process, from sourcing and application review through interview coordination and applicant record maintenance. The position also contributes to recruiting metrics, reporting, and onboarding support.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates to support open requisitions
- Review applications and assess candidate fit
- Conduct initial phone interviews
- Coordinate with hiring managers throughout the hiring process
- Schedule interviews and manage candidate logistics
- Maintain accurate applicant records
- Monitor recruiting metrics to support process improvements
- Generate reports related to recruiting activity
- Support onboarding activities for selected candidates
- Help drive recruiting initiatives across the organization
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience preferred
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required
- Tenstreet ATS experience strongly preferred
- Experience recruiting for transportation, logistics, or CDL positions preferred
- Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized approach with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other recruiting technologies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with hiring managers across multiple locations
Work Location and Schedule
- Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday schedule (in-office)
