Job Description

United Medical Systems is hiring a Recruiter to join its Human Resources team in Bloomington, MN (onsite). This role supports full-cycle recruiting while working closely with hiring managers, helping candidates move smoothly from first contact through onboarding. What you’ll do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for entry-level through experienced roles, from strategy through coordination and handoff.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Create and post engaging job advertisements across multiple job boards and recruiting platforms.
  • Source passive and active candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and other methods.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit.
  • Provide interview notes, insights, and recommendations to the hiring team.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), UKG Ready.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and follow-up.
  • Support pre-employment activities, including offer letters, facilitating background checks and drug screening, and completing onboarding paperwork.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide updates on open positions and hiring progress.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Assist with Human Resources initiatives as assigned.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Helpful experience

  • Experience using an ATS, preferably UKG Ready.
  • Experience sourcing candidates.
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare, technical, field service, or corporate positions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.

Compensation: USD 60,000–70,000 per year.
