Recruiter

Pease Bell is seeking a Recruiter based in Cleveland, OH (onsite) to oversee end-to-end talent acquisition for a fast-growing, multi-office CPA firm. This role leads the full recruiting lifecycle, supports campus and community recruiting, and partners with leadership through reporting and recruiting systems.

Role Summary

The Recruiter will manage recruiting strategy and execution across sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers. In addition, the position will build relationships with universities and professional organizations, oversee internship pipeline activities, and contribute to continuous improvement through recruiting database management and thoughtful use of technology, including AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement recruitment strategies aligned with staffing levels set by the firm
• Lead the full recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
• Design and deliver training for hiring teams on interviewing and candidate evaluation
• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and the offer process
• Develop and maintain relationships with targeted universities and professional organizations
• Plan and attend campus recruiting events, career fairs, and firm-hosted events
• Manage the internship program pipeline, from initial outreach through assessment and offer
• Develop and oversee the firm’s recruiting database and applicant tracking processes
• Prepare and present reports on hiring statistics and recruiting metrics to firm leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting through technology, automation, and AI tools

Requirements

• Proven performance and experience in a recruiting role
• Exceptional communication skills and an outgoing personality
• Experience recruiting in public accounting or professional services preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches at once
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Location and Compensation

Cleveland, OH (onsite) with a salary range of USD 65,000 to 85,000 per year.
