Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
Tessco, LLC is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Human Resources team and help keep the recruiting process moving smoothly. This hybrid role is based in Reno, NV (with commuting distance also required for Hunt Valley, MD) and involves coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and maintaining recruiting documentation in the systems that power the talent acquisition workflow.
In this position, you will serve as a key point of contact for candidates and partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure interview logistics, candidate records, and day-to-day coordination are handled accurately in a fast-paced environment across locations and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews among candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Act as the primary contact for candidates during the interview process, delivering timely communication to support a positive candidate experience.
- Manage job postings and maintain accurate requisition information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support recruiters and hiring managers with candidate pipeline administration and interview logistics.
- Prepare interview materials, agendas, and candidate evaluations as needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the ATS.
- Assist with offer preparation, background checks, and pre-employment processes.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities to support a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment operations, processes, and candidate experience.
- Support employer branding initiatives through recruiting events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition activities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, talent acquisition, or a related administrative role.
- Experience scheduling interviews and coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR software; Greenhouse experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
