Job Description
Based in Caguas, PR (onsite), the role oversees full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition, coordinating staffing needs with hiring managers and candidates to ensure an efficient, professional hiring experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to deliver a consistent, efficient, and high-quality experience from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to reach active and passive candidates using referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other digital tools.
- Post openings across job boards, social channels, and events, and participate in recruitment activities such as job fairs.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and assist with candidate assessments.
- Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Document recruitment and selection activities for audit and compliance purposes.
- Maintain current candidate records, databases, and applicant tracking systems, tracking status throughout the process.
- Generate recruitment metrics and reports (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness) to optimize hiring efficiency.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Develop, update, and maintain accurate job descriptions.
- Protect confidentiality of employee information and documentation.
- Collaborate on retention, training, and organizational development initiatives.
- Keep recruitment guidelines aligned with regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Solid understanding of recruitment processes and Puerto Rico labor laws, including equal employment opportunity, discrimination, and hiring policies.
- Experience managing compliance-focused processes, including ATS platforms and digital sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, and similar platforms).
- Ability to craft innovative recruitment strategies and enhance employer branding.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and independent work capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with emphasis on Excel for data analysis and candidate tracking.
- Discretion handling confidential information.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
