Job Description
Recruitment Officer – Talent Acquisition based in Caguas, PR, onsite, manages full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition, coordinating hiring activities and communications with candidates and managers to ensure a professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, delivering a consistent, efficient, and high-quality experience from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to engage active and passive candidates through referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other digital tools.
- Publish job openings on employment platforms and social channels, and participate in recruitment activities such as job fairs.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and support candidate evaluations.
- Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Document recruitment and selection activities for audit and compliance purposes.
- Maintain updated candidate records, databases, and applicant tracking systems, monitoring status and progress.
- Prepare recruitment metrics and HR reports, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and talent source analysis, to optimize hiring efficiency.
- Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
- Develop and maintain current job descriptions.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and documentation.
- Collaborate on employee retention, training, and organizational development initiatives.
- Keep recruitment guidelines up to date with regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and Puerto Rico labor laws, including equal employment opportunity, discrimination, and hiring policies.
- Experience managing compliance-focused processes with ATS and digital recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms).
- Ability to develop innovative recruitment strategies and strengthen employer branding.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with emphasis on Excel for data analysis and metrics tracking.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic environments.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
