Seeking Trucking Company Driver Recruiter

Work on-site in Indianapolis, IN as part of The Buffalo Group and help strengthen a growing transportation company by bringing in qualified CDL Class A drivers. This full-time recruiter role offers a competitive hourly salary of $20.00 to $30.00 based on experience, along with the opportunity to play an important, hands-on role in building the driver team.

What you will do

• Use your knowledge of the trucking industry to understand where qualified CDL Class A drivers can be found.
• Source, screen, interview, and hire professional truck drivers for the company.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with driver candidates.
• Follow up consistently to move qualified drivers through the hiring process and into trucks.

What you bring

• Previous trucking and/or CDL driver recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract qualified CDL Class A drivers.
• Knowledge of driver recruiting platforms and sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, referrals, and other methods.
• Strong communication skills and reliable follow-up habits.
• Ability to screen applicants and identify qualified candidates.
• A valid CDL Class A license to conduct road testing of potential client drivers.
• Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven approach to recruiting.
