Senior Associate, recruiter

Senior Associate role on Capital One’s Recruiting/Talent Acquisition team, focused on full lifecycle recruiting, candidate management, and data-informed hiring.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business, group, or organization leads, along with key stakeholders, to understand specific talent needs
• Manage full lifecycle recruiting and hiring deliverables, including:
  • Creating position descriptions
  • Sourcing diverse candidate pipelines
  • Marketing Capital One’s talent brand to attract top talent
  • Screening candidates
  • Advising business partners on the recruiting process
  • Negotiating job offers
• Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent
• Own the end-to-end candidate development process from identification and engagement through offer extension and closing
• Collaborate cross-functionally within a team of recruiters and help foster a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusion
• Use recruiting data to provide proactive status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
• Source beyond direct applications by using search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting OR 2 years of experience in human resources OR 2 years of client consulting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification
• 3+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting (full life cycle, research, and sourcing)
• 3+ years of experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while building and enhancing strong working relationships with those managers and their teams
• Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
• Experience with compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
