Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Buxton is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support client hiring needs through end-to-end recruiting and consistent candidate delivery. In this remote role, you will help strengthen the client brand across markets while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process for a period of 06+ months.
This role centers on full life-cycle recruiting, relationship building, and strategic talent planning, with the autonomy to develop new candidate sources and shape near- and long-term recruiting direction. You will also advance your business acumen as you partner closely with teams and manage recruiting execution across multiple locations.
Role overview
- Own full life-cycle recruiting to deliver high-quality candidates aligned to client hiring needs.
- Lead efforts to advance client brand across markets in a remote environment.
- Guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
- Support 06+ months of recruiting engagement in this remote role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full life-cycle recruiting by building strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the recruiting community.
- Use creativity to generate new candidate leads.
- Contribute to both the near-term and long-term recruiting vision.
- Increase business acumen to support effective recruiting strategy and execution.
Requirements
- Full life-cycle recruiting expertise, including proven experience with sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing candidates, and managing recruiting relationships.
- Strategic recruitment capability to recruit across a broad and deep range of positions in multiple locations, with a focus on national and multi-location hiring.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering with hiring teams to develop recruiting strategies, sourcing plans, assessment approaches, and closing methods, including management of customer and partner expectations.
- Excellent organizational and documentation practices, including maintaining accurate records on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities in an applicant tracking system.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with recruiting and talent acquisition processes, including Department of Defense (DOD) regulations.
- Prior experience recruiting Contract Administrators for DOD or similar organizations, with familiarity with role-specific requirements and regulations.
Skills preferred
- Familiarity with BrassRing Kenexa Applicant Tracking System.
- Familiarity with Phenom Candidate Relationship Management (CRM).
- Familiarity with Paradox.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
Location and compensation
- Location: Remote (remote).
- Pay: USD 48 - 49 per hour.
