Supervisory Human Resources Specialist
Job Description
Based in Anchorage, this on-site Supervisory Human Resources Specialist role supports EPA Region 10's Mission Support Division, HR Branch, with regular reporting to a duty station. The position emphasizes strategic leadership of human capital programs, workforce planning, and employee relations, while coordinating closely with internal and external partners to advance the agency's mission.
As the regional HR lead, you will supervise the human capital team to deliver technically sound, compliant services that align with both regional priorities and EPA objectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and implement regional Human Capital programs to ensure effective workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee and labor relations.
- Advise regional management on a broad spectrum of human capital matters to influence management decisions.
- Supervise and lead the regional human capital staff to deliver technically accurate, compliant, and mission-aligned HR services that support regional and agency priorities.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and business partners to identify and meet human capital needs essential to mission success.
