Job Description
Join McLane Company as a Talent Acquisition Partner in North Carolina, onsite, where you will identify, attract, and engage top candidates to support our growing team. This role prioritizes an exceptional candidate experience, close collaboration with hiring managers, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities
- Design and execute recruitment strategies to fulfill talent needs in your designated area
- Actively source and sustain candidate pipelines through community partners, schools, networking, job boards, and social platforms
- Align recruiting marketing efforts with hiring leaders and the marketing function
- Leverage recruiting technologies and tools to boost efficiency and improve the candidate journey
- Oversee requisition creation and hiring in the ATS with input from hiring managers
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, including OFCCP and EEOC
- Network via phone, social media, and other channels to build candidate flow for current and future needs
- Source, prescreen, and assess candidates through resume reviews and interviews conducted virtually, by phone, or in person
- Explain the organization’s value proposition, role responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and career advancement opportunities to candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate fit for behavioral and technical competencies
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on candidate status, progress, timelines, and any obstacles
- Coordinate interview logistics and maintain candidate engagement throughout the process
- Monitor and report recruiting metrics on a weekly basis
- Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with recruiting best practices and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years' experience in high-volume recruiting within warehouse or logistics settings
- Demonstrated ability to build candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, and social media
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for sharing complex or new information
- A personable, effective communicator with hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues
- Commitment to delivering a world-class candidate experience
- Ability to understand and articulate business needs
- Knowledge of hiring-related legislation including Title VII, PDA, ADEA, ADA, GINA, IRCA, FCRA, and OFCCP
- Preferred: Experience recruiting distribution center teammates and CDL-A drivers; consulting with hiring managers; using HRIS and ATS software; running job fairs; applying situational and behavioral interviewing
