Talent Acquisition Partner - Security & Privacy

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple business lines, with a focus on Security & Privacy, R&D, and Trust & Safety, while remaining adaptable to highly technical roles (such as Security Engineering or Data Science) and non-technical/operational searches.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR partners, assessing talent needs, sharing market insights, influencing hiring decisions, and guiding optimal hiring strategies.
• Apply innovative sourcing methods, market research, and talent mapping to identify top passive candidates in competitive tech and security markets.
• Screen and select candidates by rigorously assessing technical capabilities, business acumen, and alignment with TikTok’s fast-paced culture; ensure a seamless candidate experience from application through onboarding.
• Lead interview and offer stages, using parity data and market intelligence to determine salary recommendations and close complex negotiations.
• Partner with hiring teams to analyze pipeline metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive recruitment solutions in a data-driven approach.
• Navigate the regulated USDS environment and drive TA-related projects such as pipeline optimization, interviewer training, and referral programs to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years in full-cycle recruitment, including at least 2+ years supporting Technical, Security & Privacy, R&D, or Trust & Safety organizations.
• Proven ability to manage diverse, complex requisitions simultaneously, including leadership-level hiring.
• Strong data fluency and analytical skills to diagnose pipeline challenges and present clear, actionable solutions to leadership.
• Advanced strategic sourcing expertise (Boolean, X-Ray, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools) with a track record in talent mapping and engaging highly passive technical talent.

Job Information

The base salary range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $97,470 to $165,680 per year. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location; base pay is part of the Total Package and may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
