The following Talent Acquisition Recruiter role at ocV!BE focuses on end-to-end recruitment across the organization, emphasizing selection, retention, and workforce planning. The position supports high-volume part-time and full-time hiring as needed, while building pipelines and community relationships to meet current and future staffing needs. This role is onsite in Anaheim, CA and is part-time.

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter partners with hiring teams to shape effective recruitment strategies, manages requisitions from start to finish, and fosters strong candidate pipelines to support ongoing staffing goals. The role emphasizes collaboration, compliance, and data-driven hiring practices to align with organizational needs.

Location and Schedule

Location: Anaheim, California, onsite. Employment type: Part-time.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage job requisitions from initiation to closure.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to select the most appropriate recruiting approach for each role.
  • Draft and update job descriptions as needed.
  • Define candidate requirements by analyzing job descriptions.
  • Source applicants by researching labor market and marketing trends to build pipelines.
  • Create effective recruitment campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
  • Review resumes and assess responses against role requirements and qualifications.
  • Coordinate interviews by scheduling and organizing sessions across multiple formats.
  • Screen and interview candidates via phone, in person, and video formats.
  • Coordinate appropriate employment testing as part of the assessment process.
  • Extend job offers verbally and in writing.
  • Oversee background checks, employment verification, and educational verification processes.
  • Assist with new hire orientations to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Maintain compliance by understanding current legislation and advising managers accordingly.
  • Enforce regulatory requirements with managers and stakeholders.
  • Recommend new hiring procedures and deliver related training.
  • Run reports and analytics to monitor cost per hire and time to fill.

Requirements

  • Some college with no degree required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.
  • Preferred experience in the entertainment, sports, or hospitality industries.
  • Familiarity with human resources management practices.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS, with Workday preferred.
  • Understanding of the Orange County labor market is helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Team player with a demonstrated commitment to relationship building.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly assimilate new information and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Internet and social media savvy for sourcing candidates.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Capacity to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
