Job Description
Based in Cheektowaga, NY at the Apex Service Partners office, this Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter role focuses on full‑cycle recruiting, building a robust talent pipeline, and delivering a positive candidate experience. You’ll partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs in a fast‑paced environment and guide the end‑to‑end process from posting roles to onboarding new hires.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and design effective recruiting strategies
- Source and screen applicants to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle, from job postings to offer letters
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
- Deliver a positive candidate experience with timely, clear communication
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to support smooth onboarding for new hires
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred but not required
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and sourcing techniques
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic team setting
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (experience with iCIMS is a plus)
- Ability to work full‑time on‑site

Location
Buffalo, NY — primarily based in the Cheektowaga office, with occasional light travel to Rochester and Albany for hiring events.
Compensation
$80,000-$110,000 OTE (Salary + Bonus)
