Job Description

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist role supporting full life-cycle recruiting and close partnership with hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates using job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and referrals
  • Manage end-to-end candidate communication from application through onboarding
  • Conduct interviews at multiple stages, including phone screening, video interviews, and in-person meetings
  • Evaluate qualifications by reviewing responses, assessments, verified references, and alignment to job requirements
  • Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers across departments to define recruitment needs through strategic intake calls, aligning with business plans and objectives
  • Serve as an employer brand ambassador by overseeing internal and external communication and helping maintain a positive reputation on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and social media
  • Stay current on job knowledge via educational opportunities, professional publications, personal networks, and participation in professional organizations
  • Track recruiting KPIs including time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill
  • Support Talent Acquisition / Human Resources team projects tied to organizational objectives
  • Improve recruiting and hiring efficiency by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers, and reviewing compensation practices, including benefits and perks
  • Perform highly complex work independently with administrative supervision and broad latitude for judgment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or experience in lieu of education
  • HR certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience with a demonstrated ability to handle senior-level positions sourcing and placement
  • Proficient computer skills and data entry
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational, planning, and efficiency skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access, Visio
  • Comfort working both independently and with a team
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Strong negotiating skills

Job Summary (Core Scope)

  • Own full-life cycle recruiting, including needs analysis, posting openings, sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates
  • Build and maintain hiring manager partnerships while contributing creative, effective staffing ideas and solutions
  • Act as a role model and provide mentorship to others on staff
  • Communicate effectively across all levels and provide updates on issues or complex information to broad audiences
  • Apply advanced knowledge of One Call’s product line and industry-specific relationships
  • Generate alternative approaches to problems and brainstorm options when situations are unstructured
  • Participate in strategic planning and direction-setting
  • Support highly visible, sensitive, and critical systems

Work Environment

  • Work performed in the colleague’s home with home office computer setup
  • Primarily sedentary role; may involve repetitive motions and extended stationary periods
  • Must operate a computer and office equipment, review electronically stored information and files, and exchange accurate information while conversing with others
  • Requires ability to read monitor text, input data via keyboard, and adjust visual focus up to approximately three feet
  • Must learn new tasks, follow established processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must communicate professionally with colleagues and customers and meet speed or productivity requirements when needed
  • Must be able to manage moderate to significant mental stress from a dynamic, heavy workload

Location: Remote

Salary: USD 66,100 - 109,100 per year
