Technical Recruiter
Job Description
PeopleScout is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring for specialized technical and niche roles within the telecommunications industry. This remote position partners closely with client stakeholders, managing recruiting activities from requisition intake through offer negotiation and onboarding. The role reports to the client Delivery Manager and/or Director depending on the account type.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for specialized technical and niche roles, handling the process from requisition intake through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Design and execute sourcing strategies to reach passive candidates with specialized skill sets, using industry job boards, professional networks, conferences, and referrals.
- Apply deep telecommunications industry knowledge to stay current on key companies, the competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and critical skill sets.
- Use market insights to build trust and strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates, supporting a positive and professional recruitment experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs, provide market data, and create recruitment strategies tailored to each role.
- Conduct thorough screening and assessments using technical and behavioral interviews and appropriate assessment tools.
- Oversee offer negotiation to help ensure compensation packages are competitive and attractive.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and tracking of key metrics in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Perform continuous market research on industry trends, competitor activity, and compensation benchmarks to improve recruiting effectiveness.
- Support employer branding by representing PeopleScout at industry events and through online forums.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Strong technical vocabulary knowledge related to telecommunications.
- Proven ability to create and execute effective sourcing strategies, including passive candidate sourcing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Creative and strategic problem-solving skills to address recruiting challenges.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience.
- At least 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience successfully placing candidates in specialized technical or niche roles within an industry.
- Deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, including key players, technologies, and relevant skill sets.
- Executive-level experience with a focus on executive search, including sourcing, engaging, and hiring senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with top-level executives, understand complex business needs, and deliver high-quality talent solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $31.59 - $44.23 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.
- Actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
