Temporary Recruiter

American Cancer Society is seeking a Temporary Recruiter to support end-to-end hiring across multiple business areas from a remote-based role in Atlanta, GA, through December 2026. This position emphasizes building diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines and guiding hiring teams to timely, well-informed offers. The role offers an hourly rate of $35 to $37 and requires a bachelor’s degree along with at least three years of recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting for various roles and business units, from sourcing to offer, while building robust pipelines of active and passive candidates to secure high-quality hires.
• Align recruitment strategies with organizational priorities and evolving skill needs, sourcing talent across traditional and emerging markets and evaluating transferable and adjacent skills.
• Provide strategic guidance to hiring leaders with market insights, influence decisions, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Represent the employer brand to deliver an engaging candidate experience and maintain relationships with top talent for future opportunities.
• Facilitate timely, well-informed hiring and offer decisions through clear communication and stakeholder influence.
• Proactively network and expand outreach to broaden the professional network and strengthen ACS's appeal as a leading employer.
• Collaborate with the Hiring Manager on strategic priorities in hard-to-fill markets.
• Contribute to developing and executing employment brand initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience in a progressive organization or agency; executive recruitment experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Proven track record of creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
• Strong expertise in recruitment strategies and collaboration with hiring leaders.
• Effective negotiation skills to arrive at win/win solutions.
