Truck Driver Recruiter

The Driver Recruiter will oversee end-to-end recruitment of CDL drivers for Pemberton Truck Lines, managing sourcing, screening, and onboarding from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified CDL drivers
• Screen applicants and conduct phone interviews
• Guide applicants through the full hiring process
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities
• Maintain candidate engagement to ensure a positive experience
• Cultivate relationships with former drivers and referral networks
• Meet weekly hiring targets and sustain a robust talent pipeline

Requirements

• Previous recruiting experience, with transportation recruiting preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Comfortable using recruiting software, job boards, and social media
• Driven by goals and results
• Positive attitude with a sense of urgency
