This HR Business Partner focused on employee relations operates onsite in Ontario, California, partnering with leadership to resolve employee relations issues, coach on performance and investigations, and support workforce actions while ensuring policy compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide support to leadership and staff to address employee relations matters.
- Coach and counsel leaders on training, corrective action and performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and handling complaints or grievances.
- Support workforce reduction efforts by gathering data, preparing analytical reports, and obtaining internal approvals.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team during the offer rescission process.
- Review and respond to turnover data obtained from exit interviews.
- Respond to unemployment insurance claims.
- Conduct special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in human resources, or a closely related field.
- At least two (2) years of HR experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
