Job Description

United Auto Supply is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Warehouse Recruiter to support an automated Auto Parts Distribution Center in Syracuse, NY. This in-person role centers on recruiting and coordinating staffing needs with warehouse leadership, while managing key steps in the candidate and new-hire process from sourcing through onboarding.

In this position, you will work closely with Warehouse Managers on site and partners in HR/Corporate Office to help ensure appropriate staffing service levels are met. The work includes attracting applicants, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, attending job fairs, and maintaining an organized pipeline for warehouse hiring.

What you’ll do

Maintain an effective working relationship with Warehouse Managers and HR/Corporate Office to support appropriate staffing service levels.
Advertise warehouse openings to generate applicants.
Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews for qualified candidates.
Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities, using the established onboarding procedure.
Manage new hire onboarding and orientation by partnering with the Warehouse Manager and Corporate office/HR to keep forms accurate and processed timely.
Attend job fairs and represent United Auto Supply in a positive, professional manner.
Maintain and update the warehouse staffing roster.
Create and manage a pool of qualified candidates on a consistent basis.
Complete general clerical tasks, including scanning documents containing confidential employee information for processing.
Perform other duties as assigned.

About the role

As the HR Generalist, you will manage the daily operations of the HR function at the Syracuse site and act as a trusted partner to both employees and leadership. Your scope covers the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, performance management, development, wellness, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the site HR partner to administer and support programs including onboarding, benefits, leave management, performance reviews, and employee relations

Requirements
