Area Installation Recruiting Specialist
Job Description
Field-based recruiting and onboarding leader for a multi-state flooring installer network supporting Lowe’s.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment of flooring installers across a multi-state territory using the ADVanced Insights Team tool and additional sourcing methods
- Review applicant and hiring manager survey data to improve recruiting efficiency and quality of hire in the flooring installation marketplace
- Negotiate installer cost structures aligned to local market rates and the Service Pros cost model
- Maintain a current view of the flooring installation contractor marketplace, including competitor activity, installer availability, and regional pricing trends
- Build and deliver structured onboarding and training for newly contracted flooring installers to support professional representation of Service Pros and Lowe’s
- Provide sales training support to installers, focusing on product knowledge and communication skills that strengthen customer relationships and satisfaction
- Complete in-home flooring measurement training and perform measurements as needed ($30.00 piece rate per measurement)
- Partner with the workroom team to design and implement installer retention and appreciation initiatives that reduce turnover and support long-term loyalty
- Conduct targeted store visits at Lowe’s Home Improvement locations to evaluate and strengthen installer/Lowe’s relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for installers in the territory, maintaining trust and clear communication across field stakeholders
- Use KPIs, data reporting, and performance metrics to monitor gross profit margins and customer experience benchmarks and take proactive action when trends require it
- Drive consistently strong customer satisfaction scores within the territory
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years related experience in talent acquisition, field operations, or customer service management preferred
- Ability to lead situationally by motivating and aligning people to organizational goals and expectations
- Experience in a large multi-site or multi-state environment with competing priorities and diverse stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across entry-level installers, store managers, and senior leadership
- Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, email, and word processing tools; comfort using reporting tools and data for decisions
- Solid mathematical reasoning for cost modeling, pricing analysis, and performance metric evaluation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving and insurance requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% across a multi-state territory
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs. and perform in-home measurements as needed
