Associate Recruiter - TIP/TDP Digital First

Join Capital One’s Students & Grads Talent Acquisition team and support hiring for TIP/TDP Digital First as an Associate Recruiter. This onsite role in McLean, VA (with travel up to 25%) offers a competitive salary range of $81,700 to $93,300 per year, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation that may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). The work is fast-paced, data-driven, and centered on building strong candidate experiences through full life-cycle recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Own full life-cycle recruitment, including planning, sourcing, coordinating, and executing all stages of the recruitment process.
• Manage candidates with strong attention to detail, organization, and clear communication.
• Partner with hiring managers, business group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs.
• Work cross-functionally within a team of high-performing recruiters.
• Collaborate with business partners on strategic initiatives and hiring strategy.
• Use recruiting data to provide proactive status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
• Source top candidates by looking beyond direct applications and using search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing approaches.
• Build relationships with high-volume candidates, understand their interest and passion, and direct them to the right role or opportunity.
• Track high-volume candidate data in real time with precision.
• Contribute to ad-hoc recruitment projects as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination of relevant experience.

Travel

This role requires travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination of relevant experience.
• Experience in Campus Recruiting or Programs.

Compensation & Incentives

• McLean, VA: $81,700 to $93,300 per year.
• Richmond, VA: $74,200 to $84,700 for Recruiter.
• Eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives may be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
