Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local clients and job seekers, serving as the primary contact for staffing needs, placements, and ongoing support
- Evaluate resumes, assess candidate qualifications, and identify top talent based on job requirements and client needs
- Collaborate with recruiters and leadership to develop and execute staffing strategies aligned with hiring goals and workforce planning
- Represent the organization at job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach to build a strong candidate pipeline
- Oversee onboarding by coordinating background checks, managing new hire paperwork, and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
- Lead first-day logistics to provide a smooth, welcoming transition for new hires
- Support payroll operations by accurately processing timecards, reviewing hours, and assisting with timecard approvals
- Regularly check in with clients and placed associates to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support; staffing agency experience is a plus
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and clients
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Comfort conducting in-person and phone interviews with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
