Construction HR Recruiter

AppleOne is seeking a Construction HR Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for a fast-paced hiring environment. This onsite role in Bakersfield, CA focuses on running recruiting activity from requisition through onboarding, while coordinating day-to-day communication with candidates and hiring teams.

Role overview

In this position, you will help manage recruiting workflows end to end and ensure scheduling and candidate communication stay organized. The ideal candidate brings construction or related talent acquisition experience and can use HR tools and recruiting databases to track progress through placement.

Key responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting activities in a fast-paced environment
• Support recruitment processes from requisition through onboarding
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications

Minimum requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, staffing, or recruiting coordination experience
• Required experience recruiting within construction, engineering, infrastructure, skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, or related industries
• Experience supporting recruitment processes from requisition through onboarding
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting databases
• Experience scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Valid driver's license required

Compensation and location

• Location: Bakersfield, CA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 73,000 - 80,000 per year
