Job Description

Contract Technical Recruiter at Xometry handles full-cycle technical recruiting across Technology, Engineering, Product, and Data, partnering with hiring managers and HR to source, interview, and extend offers on a 6-month contract with onsite work three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, from sourcing to offer presentation
  • Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent via job boards, social channels, networking, and direct outreach
  • Lead in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Apply assessment tools and scoring methods to evaluate candidate qualifications
  • Foster strong candidate relationships to ensure a positive experience throughout the process
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with candidates and stakeholders at every stage
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand talent needs and provide strategic recruitment guidance
  • Develop and execute tailored recruitment strategies for specific technical teams and roles
  • Monitor market trends, align recruiting with business priorities, and grow technical talent networks
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the broader talent acquisition strategy
  • Provide regular, data-driven reports and insights to leadership to inform decision-making
  • Partner with the recruitment team to share best practices and internal knowledge
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing requisitions across multiple technical disciplines (Technology, Engineering, Product, Data)
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively partner with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other social recruiting tools
  • Strong capability to manage multiple simultaneous recruitment projects
  • Experience leveraging job boards, targeted sourcing, and other channels to identify candidates
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and government compliance considerations affecting recruitment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Google Apps and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work onsite three days per week at the North Bethesda, MD location
