Corporate Recruiter

Stafford Technology is seeking a Corporate Recruiter in Columbus, OH to support active hiring needs in a fast-moving environment. The role focuses on proactive candidate sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, and consistent candidate communication for skilled trades, engineering, and corporate positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage candidates through outbound outreach, networking, and creative sourcing strategies.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles, including skilled trades (construction, HVAC, plumbing), engineering, and corporate positions.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role needs and deliver qualified candidates efficiently.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate next steps in the interview process.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey.
• Track recruiting activity and keep accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Stay informed on industry trends and labor market insights to inform sourcing and engagement strategies.

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of recruiting experience, either in an agency or in-house setting.
• Demonstrated ability to actively source and engage candidates, rather than relying on job postings alone.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and relationship-building.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, engineering, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles at once.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter mindset with results-driven focus in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
