Job Description
The Director of Human Resources at Prism Vision Group is an on-site leadership role in New Providence, NJ, partnering with executives to align people strategies with business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, translating workforce needs into talent priorities and initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals.
- Collaborate on organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews to strengthen leadership capability and readiness for growth.
- Guide performance management processes, drive employee engagement initiatives, and support leadership development to foster accountability and measurable results.
- Lead and support complex employee relations matters with a fair, thoughtful, and solutions-focused approach, ensuring compliant and timely resolution.
- Advise on business transformation and change initiatives by guiding planning, communications, and execution to minimize disruption and maximize adoption.
- Leverage HR analytics and workforce data to identify trends, inform decision making, and propose actions that improve talent outcomes and business performance.
- Coach leaders on people management practices, conflict resolution, and the application of HR policies to promote consistency, fairness, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with talent acquisition, total rewards, learning and development, and HR operations to deliver integrated HR solutions that align with business priorities.
- Maintain current knowledge of HR trends and employment laws to provide sound guidance and mitigate risk for the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience in an HR business partner or strategic HR leadership role supporting senior leaders
