Job Description
Division HR Manager opportunity with D.R. Horton in Corona, California. This onsite role oversees all human resources and payroll activities at the division level, acts as the liaison between Corporate and Division, and manages employee relations. The position offers a salary of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package and a professional, ethical work environment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with applicable HR regulations and policies
- Collaborate with managers to advertise vacancies, screen applications, and support recruitment activities
- Manage onboarding processes and coordinate new employee setup with local IT
- Lead new hire orientation and onboarding for in-person and virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams
- Assist with division payroll by reviewing, correcting, and obtaining approvals for timesheets
- Process salary increases, bonuses, commissions, transfers, promotions, and terminations
- Administer the division's workers' compensation program
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters and escalate issues to corporate HR leadership as needed
- Keep managers informed about policies related to managerial responsibilities
- Support staff training initiatives
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement events and initiatives
- Respond to employee questions about benefits and HR policies
- Maintain the division's organizational chart
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and support the company's goodwill and success
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
- Supervise at least one employee in the Main Office, conducting duties such as interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints, and resolving issues in accordance with policies and laws
Requirements
- Four to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to two years of experience in a management role preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms required, Taleo and/or PeopleSoft preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
