Employer Recruiter

The Employer Recruiter will expand or introduce Registered Apprenticeship to employers, leveraging networks to open vacancies for Ready, Willing and Able apprentices and drive program goals.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing networks to promote Registered Apprenticeship, Pre-Apprenticeship programs, and standard hiring, and to open vacancies for employers.
• Represent Ready, Willing and Able at public forums; design and lead events and presentations for stakeholders and potential partners to advocate for the program.
• Identify funding opportunities and resource sources to support program initiatives.
• Contribute to the strategic development of Ready, Willing and Able by collaborating with the team to broaden the program's scope and activities.
• Ensure program goals for Ready, Willing and Able are met in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven track record in securing sales with large multinational organizations.
• Operational experience coordinating with employers to open vacancies and source talent, with a minimum of five years documented experience.
• Practical knowledge of Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship programs as administered by the U.S. Department of Labor and the California Department of Apprenticeship Services.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the employment of individuals living with disabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility when addressing complex issues.
• Effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently.

Experience

Minimum five years of experience in Business Development or an equivalent recruitment role.
