Job Description

Braze seeks a Fixed-Term Contract Technical Recruiter II in New York, NY (hybrid) to recruit for Product, Design, and Engineering, design and execute customized recruiting strategies, and partner with hiring managers across the organization, with an annual salary of USD 50,000–60,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-volume technical searches with limited supervision, applying creative problem solving across all phases of the hiring process
  • Build and run innovative recruiting strategies using data from Greenhouse, Gem, and Looker to enhance practice
  • Serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders by guiding and facilitating dialogue
  • Explore and share advanced sourcing techniques to elevate search effectiveness
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers at all levels, including executives and cross-functional leaders
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at every stage, so technical candidates feel respected, informed, and valued
  • Introduce and drive new operational processes within the talent acquisition team with a solution-focused mindset
  • Act as a Change Agent, communicating rationale for new processes and guiding teams to adopt them
  • Collaborate across departments to support hiring spikes and align on scaling needs
  • Coach and mentor junior teammates, modeling inclusivity and a supportive workplace

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a dynamic, fast-paced tech environment, ideally within a high-growth startup
  • Proven success hiring technical talent across software engineering, product management, and design
  • Solid understanding of recruitment metrics and the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing executive leadership on hiring initiatives
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of technology and engineering
