Frontline Recruiter
Job Description
This on-site role at DHL in Fairburn, GA oversees hourly recruiting within a targeted region, handling sourcing, screening, scheduling, hiring and orientation, and contributing to hourly recruiting strategy, marketing, vendor management, process design, change management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and site HR contacts to determine hourly hiring needs, communicate progress, and operate to meet key objectives.
- Maintain candidate information with precision within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Oversee postings for designated locations, monitor progress through the hiring process, close vacancies, and verify file completeness.
- Evaluate submitted applications or resumes for job fit and pre-hire driver screening requirements.
- Conduct prescreening interviews by phone or in person with qualified applicants.
- Coordinate interview schedules for candidates with hiring managers at their sites.
- Maintain active relationships within professional networks to stay informed about competitive activities and best practices.
- Provide coaching and training support to hiring managers as needed.
- Generate standard reports, projections, and data related to hourly recruiting topics.
- Assess recruiting productivity, identify challenges, develop improvement plans, and implement approved changes with management oversight.
- Define marketing and sourcing strategies to satisfy hourly recruitment demand.
- Participate in specialized projects within the Hourly Recruiting structure, including start-up activities, campus and remote hiring events, networking, and marketing efforts.
- Deliver subject matter expertise for Hourly Regional Recruiting projects across the organization.
- Engage in job fairs and community networking opportunities.
- Verify employment qualifications, pre-hire screenings, background checks, and drug screens.
- Draft offer letters and initiate or monitor pre-hire paperwork in the system.
Requirements
- An associate degree in business or human resources or 3+ years of human resources experience, preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or related field, preferred.
- 1+ years of general HR experience, preferred.
- 1+ years of high volume recruiting, preferred.
