Human Resource Business Partner
Job Description
A HR Business Partner based in Allentown, PA, collaborates with site leadership to drive human resources initiatives across a growing warehouse and logistics operation, covering employee relations, recruitment, performance, compliance, and workforce planning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site leadership to align HR strategies with business goals across the operation
- Manage employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs for hourly and salaried staff across multiple sites
- Maintain compliance with company policies, applicable employment laws, and safety standards
- Lead performance management activities, including performance reviews and development planning
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and propose data‑driven solutions
- Drive and support employee engagement and culture initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to travel monthly to Rotterdam, NJ and Germantown, WI
- Flexibility to support varying schedules as business needs require
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations across states as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years of on‑site HR management or HR leadership with a proven track record
- Experience advising operations leaders on business practices and outcomes
- Strong understanding of HR practices, local and state employment laws, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strategic thinker who can provide practical solutions to complex HR issues
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work a flexible on‑site schedule and handle after‑hours challenges
- Bilingual English/Spanish
