Human Resource Clerk - Weekend
Job Description

This Weekend Human Resource Clerk role at Sam’s Club in Lithia Springs, GA is focused on administrative and HR support, including payroll documentation processing, clerical coordination, and assistance with hiring and employment-related paperwork. You’ll help address payroll, benefits, and employment questions while contributing to compliance with applicable laws.
What you’ll do
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
- Process payroll documentation for pay adjustments by researching, verifying, and filing daily time reports, time and pay adjustments, and payroll edits related to HR functions such as payroll, benefits, and employment.
- Prepare, review, analyze, and process reports, documents, and logs to support compliance with applicable laws.
- Respond to payroll, benefits, and employment issues and questions, and report deficiencies to management.
- Provide HR and administrative support through general clerical duties including filing, keying, faxing, answering phones, entering data in multiple systems, scheduling appointments, maintaining logs, and preparing and processing HR reports and paperwork.
- Support HR processes such as transfer and orientation coordination, including preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and processing HR reports and documents.
- Assist with employment events by processing terminations and transfers and completing related data entry and paperwork.
- Support hiring activity by scheduling interviews and drug screens, completing reference checks, processing new hire and transfer paperwork, and assisting with new hire and transfer orientation.
- Handle employment-related forms and data entry, including processing required information and completing forms such as Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation and OSHA log information.
- Complete assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and adjusting to change.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including applying the Open Door Policy in business processes.

Schedule
Work Shift: 0500-1700 SA SU FR 0L. Various schedules may be available, with details discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: 6 months experience in Walmart Logistics clerical related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) using computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing) OR 1 year’s experience in clerical related responsibilities using computer applications OR 1 year’s coursework in a Human Resource related field (for example, Business Management, Human Resources) AND 1 y (additional qualifying detail is listed but truncated in the source).

Compensation and location
Salary: USD 24 - 28 per hourly.
