Job Description

The Human Resource Coordinator role supports end-to-end recruiting and hiring activities across the U.S. and Canada, while partnering with hiring managers and HR leadership to strengthen the candidate experience and workforce planning. This position also contributes to onboarding, employee experience initiatives, HR compliance, and ongoing HR inquiries.

Location and Schedule

  • Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)
  • Schedule: Full-time onsite role, eligible for hybrid work on M & F

Compensation

USD 55,000 - 65,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and participation in career fairs.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the HR Leader to improve recruiting workflows, enhance the candidate experience, and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Manage onboarding for new hires, including pre-employment screenings, orientation, employment documentation, system access, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Support HR compliance by maintaining alignment with federal, state, and local employment laws, updating policies and documentation, and ensuring required postings and records are maintained.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR questions, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Coordinate community outreach programs, career fairs, and employee engagement and recognition events to support a positive workplace culture.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role conducting full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including I-9, E-Verify, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), leave administration, and employment recordkeeping requirements
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices across the employee lifecycle
  • Knowledge of HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build effective relationships and provide exceptional service to candidates, employees, and managers
  • Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support efficient, compliant HR and recruiting practices

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Relevant HR experience in a distribution, sales, and service environment
