Human Resource Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist at EVCO Plastics supports compliant people practices at the Oshkosh, Wisconsin manufacturing site, ensuring fair application of HR policies, risk mitigation, and timely guidance for employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies to align with federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA, FMLA, EEO, FLSA, unemployment, substance abuse, and related laws.
• Lead talent acquisition activities end to end, covering sourcing, job description review, interviews and testing, offers, transfers/promotions, onboarding and orientation, and I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
• Manage employee relations matters through thorough investigations, recommendations, and follow‑through with appropriate parties.
• Support performance management processes and training initiatives related to pay for performance.
• Monitor incident reports, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and leaves of absence.
• Maintain personnel files, site access and security cards, as well as meeting documentation; partner with corporate benefits to deliver programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, discretion, and working knowledge of employment law.
