Human Resources Analyst-Pre-boarding & Recognition

The Human Resources Analyst for Pre-boarding and Recognition provides support for onboarding, pre-boarding, and employee recognition initiatives at University Health in San Antonio. The role serves as a liaison between HR and newly hired staff and supports scholarship and student loan programs on site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates a streamlined onboarding experience for candidates by conducting WebEx check-ins that outline the onboarding process and share insights into a new employee's first day at University Health.
• Supports the University Health Scholarship Programs and Student Loan Repayment Programs.
• Acts as a liaison between the Human Resources team and newly hired employees awaiting onboarding.
• Assists the HR management team with projects and events related to recognition and employee engagement.
• Demonstrates initiative and exercises independent judgment in daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
• At least two years of experience in the HR field or demonstrated knowledge of HR functions and operations.
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and assume professional accountability for assigned areas.
• Intermediate proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
