Job Description
Corporate Hospitality Service in Irving, TX is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join the on-site HR team in a full-time capacity. The role centers on administrative support, recruitment assistance, onboarding, and other HR duties within a hospitality-focused environment. The position offers a salary range of USD 43,600 to 49,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Post and manage job advertisements across ADP, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, and other hiring platforms.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
- Review applications and assist recruiters with candidate sourcing and outreach.
- Provide clerical support to the HR department.
- Schedule interviews and maintain candidate records within ADP or ATS systems.
- Handle a high volume of phone calls with confidence, as strong communication on the phone is essential.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Manage uploading of disciplinary files, processing terminations, and onboarding of new hires within ADP.
- Support onboarding and administrative recruiting tasks as needed.
- Previous customer service, administrative, sales, or recruiting experience is a plus, but not required.
- Assist with Connecteam daily functions.
- May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, correcting processing errors, and distributing checks.
- Manage the submission of garnishments and other payroll-related compliance activities.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR assistant.
- Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people-management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- Highly computer-literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
- Experience with ADP (HRIS).
- Bilingual (preferred).
