Human Resources Assistant (On Site)
Job Description
Onsite Human Resources Assistant role supporting day-to-day HR operations across recruiting, onboarding, benefits/leave support, engagement, facility access coordination, and HR administration.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting steps for assigned roles from application review through offer.
- Review resumes, perform initial candidate screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to keep the hiring process efficient.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and track recruiting metrics.
- Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and talent attraction initiatives.
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment activities.
- Support new hire orientation and maintain onboarding documentation.
- Arrange equipment requests and coordinate building/security access for employees.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding checklists to support smooth transitions.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, and Open Enrollment support.
- Support leave administration by directing employees to the appropriate resources.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs, milestones, and appreciation events.
- Help create employee communications that support a positive workplace environment.
- Coordinate employee building access, security credentials, and company property assignments.
- Activate and deactivate building access for new hires and departing employees.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance-related activities.
- Support policy administration and employee communications.
- Participate in HR process improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience required.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, or benefits coordination preferred.
- Experience with an HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
