Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description

Responsibilities
- Provide HR support across designated business units and departments, including employee relations, recruiting, selection, and onboarding
- Implement and administer human resources programs and employment policies
- Maintain personnel recordkeeping and support workforce development activities
- Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations
- Participate in developing and executing organization-wide recruiting strategies, including creating and overseeing job posting content as needed
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies supporting property business objectives, including talent acquisition, retention, and success planning
- Serve as a resource for managers and employees on HR policy understanding, compliance, and employee relations topics
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues and methods of conflict resolution
- Support employees with HR-related needs such as data entry and collection of paperwork
- Assist employees and managers regarding benefits, terminations, policy interpretation, and other HR products and deliverables
- Maintain and analyze internal HR databases to identify trends and measure key performance indicators
- Deliver ongoing staffing and turnover metrics and recommend continuous improvement actions based on data collection (including analysis of exit interview data to improve retention)
- Partner with employees and management to interpret HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, and communicate changes as needed
- Participate in development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives that support inclusion and belonging
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge across multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices and federal and state employment laws, employee and union relations, etc.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply relevant laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Ability to learn the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and related administrative practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Three to five years of human resources experience
- Additional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Must obtain a valid gaming license, where applicable
Work Location and Conditions
- Oxford, ME (onsite)
- Required to sit for extended periods of time
- May be required to stand, walk, use hands to reach and handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- May be required to talk or hear
- Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Noise level in the work environment is moderate

Pay Range
- $55,000 - $68,000 per year
